Baek Wang-sik is a tanker hunter affiliated with Korea’s Hunter Bureau, though his name is not widely known to the public.

Despite receiving offers to immigrate to the United States, he continues to work in Korea out of respect for Hunter Bureau Director Kang Il-seop’s upright character and for reasons of his own.

Ten years ago, Baek Wang-sik was abducted to the world beyond the Gates—the Azelan Continent—where he endured unimaginable suffering before finally returning alive.

His goal is to protect the entire Earth and bring back to Korea the friends who were kidnapped alongside him.
