Moonrise by the Cliff

Some say the king had an affair with his own mother, while others claim he took advantage of hundreds of women and men. These are the rumors Samwol hears on her way to guard the exiled former monarch, Hwan, in her ill father’s stead. Befitting his heinous reputation, Hwan is imprisoned in a house situated between a tiger-infested mountain and a steep cliff. But upon meeting him, Samwol quickly learns that Hwan is nothing like the dangerous image others have planted into her mind. In fact, the more time she spends with him, the more Hwan begins to open up to her about his true past and vulnerabilities. However, growing close to the man everyone despises is sure to come with dire consequences….
